Organiser say event needs support to grow in future
The Manx Grand Prix would require more guaranteed marshal and medical cover if it hopes to expand again in future.
That's according to the organisers after the condensed nine-day programme in place again this year sparked criticism from some corners following disruption on some days due to weather and other circumstances.
The Manx Motor Cycle Club says it would be keen to see the races grow back to something representing the two-week format it ran under in previous years.
But its Chair, John McBride, believes the event needs support from people now if it plans to grow:
