Recruitment drive starts on Monday
The latest police recruitment drive gets underway on the Island on Monday.
It comes after the police's budget received a £3 million boost from Treasury for the current financial year.
Outlining his intentions last month, Chief Constable Gary Roberts said the Isle of Man Constabulary had 248 officers at its peak a number of years ago, while at the lowest there were fewer than 210.
The aim is to get the figure to about half-way between those two.
On Mandate this morning, people development manager for the Island's force, Sergeant Paul Kemp, said they were particularly looking to attract experienced officers from other forces this time:
People interested in joining the force can get more information and application packs from Monday (19 August).
Presentation evenings will be held at the press centre at the TT Grandstand in September (9 and 16 September).
