Ashford to quiz Beecroft in Keys
The decision to axe funding for the Meals on Wheels service operated by Age Concern will be questioned in the House of Keys this morning.
Douglas North MHK, David Ashford, will press Health Minister Kate Beecroft on what plans there are to appoint a new provider and how the decision meets the strategy of trying to allow people to live in their own home for longer.
Since the announcement earlier this month, the Manx Labour Party has called for a review and Rob Callister was granted an urgent question at last week's sitting.
