Chance to view plans in Douglas, Peel and Port Erin
There’s another opportunity to find out more about plans for the Island’s first offshore wind farm this week.
Ørsted is holding three public meetings in Douglas, Peel and Port Erin.
The company says it wants to highlight how it could provide the Island with secure renewable energy for ‘decades to come’ as well as economic, employment and community benefits.
The events will take place as follows:
- Tuesday 6 August: Santander Work Café, Old Market Hall, North Quay, Douglas – 12pm to 6pm
- Wednesday 7 August: Corrin Hall, Peel – 2pm to 7pm
- Thursday 8 August: Bradda Glen Café, Bradda East, Port Erin – 2pm to 7pm
You can find more information about the proposals HERE.
Feedback about the plans can be submitted via a consultation portal HERE, by emailing mooirvannin@orsted.com or by writing to Ørsted, The Old Courthouse, Athol Street, Douglas, Isle of Man.
