Fast food packaging biggest culprit says Beach Buddies founder
The founder of Beach Buddies says a more targeted approach is needed to cut down on plastic waste polluting the environment.
Bill Dale was speaking after news that Robinson's Fresh Foods sends up to ten tonnes of plastic to the UK each week to be recycled, as there aren't sufficient recycling facilities on Island for packaging used for fruit and vegetables.
However, speaking on today's Talking Heads, Bill says such waste isn't normally the issue and we should be focusing our attention elsewhere.
