It's charged 2% of its domestic customers the standard rate instead of the reduced one
Isle of Man Energy has apologised after more than 500 customers were overcharged for VAT.
Just over two percent of its domestic customers were charged the standard rate instead of the reduced one.
It says it will apply corrections to any affected accounts, which will show as a credit on their next bill.
It's also making a 'goodwill payment' of £10 to each affected customer.
The corrections and payment will automatically be applied to the accounts.
