Work and mortgage among reasons for exemptions
More than 700 people have entered the Isle of Man for contractual reasons such as work or a mortgage since border restrictions came into force in March.
The figures were revealed in this week's sitting of the House of Keys, but Policy and Reform Minister Ray Harmer's statistics didn't separate those arriving for work from those who've permanently moved to the Island.
Mr Harmer also confirmed 1,748 people had been allowed to come to the Island for compassionate reasons.
He believes the measures have been successful:
