Data released under FoI process
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service has received more than 815 referrals since the beginning of 2024.
Data from Manx Care shows that most were related to ‘mental health’ concerns.
Nearly 4,000 referrals were categorised under this reason between 2019 and August 2024.
Meanwhile 123 were for ‘assessments’ with four described as ‘crisis intervention assessments’.
The figures were released as part of a response to a Freedom of Information request.
