Details of physical attacks on DHSC staff revealed in Tynwald answer
More than 90 assaults on clinical staff at the Island's medical facilities have been recorded over the last 12 months.
Since October last year, 69 incidents took place at hospital wards, with a further 20 within Mental Health Services and two at Community Health Services.
Noble's Hospital's Ward 8 saw the highest instance of assaults, with 28 taking place on the acute medicine ward.
The Department of Health and Social Care classes an assault as a physical attack or attempted physical attack on staff, not including verbal threats or hostility.
