Figures revealed at House of Keys
More than half of the Island's GPs are over 50 years old.
43 of the 90 GPs working at Manx surgeries are under 50, while 21 are in the 50 to 55 bracket.
26 are 56 or older, with 12 of those aged over 60.
Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford revealed the figures following a written question from Douglas South MHK Kate Beecroft in this week's House of Keys sitting.
