Numbers expected to outstrip UK
Students at University College Isle of Man are celebrating, after another rise in the achievement rate for degree qualifications.
A record 83% of this year's UCM graduates attained either a first class or upper second class grade.
While comparable results from UK universities are not yet available, bosses say they are 'proudly confident' Manx students have outperformed them for a third year running.
Around 300 full and part-time students currently study degree courses at UCM.
But Higher Education Manager Gail Corrin denies exams are getting easier:
