Evening sailing expected to depart on schedule
This morning's (Wed 13) Ben my Chree sailing has been cancelled due to high winds in the Irish Sea.
It means there will be no return service from Heysham at 2.15pm
This evening's 7.45pm sailing is currently expected to depart on schedule.
Storm Gareth has been battering the Island overnight, but so far there have been few reports of other disruption, with no roads currently listed as blocked by fallen trees or debris.
There are no UK papers on Island today, however the Isle of Man Examiner is in the shops.
The Isle of Man Post Office has warned there could be disruption to mail deliveries whilst the adverse conditions continue, also due to a technical fault with the aircraft.
