Go Explore cards and school fares up, though
The majority of Bus Vannin fares have been frozen for the fifth successive year.
However, some fares will rise including School and College journeys using Go Cards SCH1, 2 and 3 which will increase by 5p to 30p per journey.
The 5 Day Go Explore Heritage will increase to £63 for adults and £30 for children, allowing unlimited travel on buses, trams and trains, Groudle Glen Railway, Laxey Mines Railways and entry to all Manx National Heritage sites.
DOI Member with responsibility for the Transport Division, Jason Moorhouse says the increase for the Go Explore cards was in line with Manx National Heritage increases and there has not been an across-the-board increase in fares since 2013.
The fare increases come into effect tomorrow (Monday, 15 January).
