The Home Affairs Minister has downplayed concerns over security at Manx borders - a week after one of Poland's most wanted men was arrested off a Steam Packet ferry at Heysham.
Marian Dorobek had been on the run for four months, and a European Union Warrant had been issued for his arrest
Although European authorities can apply to the Island for extradition of offenders, such warrants are not enforceable here.
Responding to a probe from North Douglas MHK David Ashford, Mr Malarkey says the case has raised more questions about security in other jurisdictions:
