A six and a half month old baby boy from Peel is the inspiration for a fund-raising walk later this month.
Lucian was born at 27 weeks and spent more than three months in the special care baby unit at Noble's Hospital.
His mum Amy Martin has organised a walk along Douglas Promenade in aid of the premature baby charity, Bliss.
She says he needed blood transfusions, had a hole in his heart and bleeding on the brain.
However, thanks to the care he received he is now happy and thriving.
Amy says the day he was allowed to come home is one she will never forget.
The walk on November 17 starts at the TT stop on Douglas Promenade. People are asked to turn up for 6pm and there'll be a prize for the best fancy dress costume.
