The Baillie Scott building's been owned by Manx National Heritage since 2018
Tynwald members will be deciding whether or not Manx National Heritage can sell the Old Police Station in Castletown next month.
The Baillie Scott building, which has been empty since 2017, is described as being both of historic and architectural importance.
It's been owned by the Manx Museum and National Trust since 2018, with hopes of being able to find a tenant.
After eight years, that's not been possible, and MNH is now looking to sell the site.
A spokesperson for Manx National Heritage said: "The Old Police Station is an important part of the Island’s architectural story, and we are committed to ensuring that its next chapter is one of respect and renewal.
"By seeking a responsible private owner, we aim to secure a sustainable future for the building, one that preserves its heritage while enabling it to contribute positively to community life once again."
The motion will be brought to April's sitting of Tynwald.
