Police inquiries ongoing
A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on the Mountain Road yesterday, police have confirmed.
His machine was involved in a collision with a car on the Douglas side of Windy Corner at about 3.30pm.
The 47-year-old man, an Island resident, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the car, also a local, was not injured.
Officers say inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
