Route needs to be inspected by the course inspection car
The Mountain Road has been closed following an incident which left a motorist needing hospital treatment.
Police have told Manx Radio their injuries are not life-threatening.
It’s hoped the route between The Bungalow and the Creg ny Baa will be reopened before 3pm.
Officers say they need to clear debris and allow the route to be inspected by the course inspection car.
At 4.27pm the Isle of Man Constabulary confirmed the road has reopened.
