Motorists using Governor's Bridge are currently being diverted down Governor's Dip on the TT course while tree felling works take place.
The Department of Infrastructure says a tree on the Onchan side of the junction has become unstable as a result of Storm Darragh and needs to be removed on safety grounds.
As a result, Onchan bound traffic must use the dip, which is usually only used during racing, while the road between Governor's Bridge and Victoria Road is currently one way in the direction of Douglas.
It's expected the work will be completed by 3.30pm.
