4x4 failed to stop after Douglas collision
Police are appealing for witnesses after a hit and run in which a motorist's leg was left trapped in a car door.
It happened at 11.15am on Wednesday (30 March) on Lower Dukes Road in Douglas.
The driver of a red 4x4 has been accused of colliding with the passenger door of a stationary silver VW Polo – the vehicle failed to stop and drove off.
Officers say they believe the driver would have known they'd hit the other vehicle and have asked them to come forward.
Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or Crimestoppers.
