Claire Losh had two flat tyres
A motorist says she’s relieved her social media warning about a piece of raised metal on Braddan Road has helped alert others and may have prevented a costly accident so close to Christmas.
Claire Losh posted on Facebook after hitting the metal near roadworks last night, describing a bump that left her with two flat tyres.

Since her post, a number of other motorists commented saying their vehicles had hit the spot, resulting in tyre damages.
Claire told Manx Radio says she's lucky her car is on loan from the mobility scheme and therefore the cost of recovery and tyres will be covered.
She adds it was more the inconvenience of not having a car this morning to get to work.
