Snow and a fallen tree causing issues for drivers
Motorists are being warned of poor driving conditions on the Island's roads this morning following heavy rain and severe gales overnight.
The Department of Infrastructure has sent a gritter to the Mountain Road to lay down salt as snow is falling between Brandywell and Windy Corner.
The route remains open but may be busier than usual as the Laxey to Ramsey Coast Road remains blocked just north of the junction with Mines Road due to a fallen tree.
As a result, a number of bus services have been diverted, full details of which can be found on the Isle of Man Transport Facebook page.
Officers are appealing for those taking to the roads to drive to the conditions and stay safe.
