The cost more than doubled across Europe this week
Changes to the pricing of a weight loss jab came as a shock, according to a pharmacist on the Island.
The cost of Mounjaro more than doubled this week (1 September) across Europe, a decision maker Eli Lilly admitted was influenced by US President, Donald Trump.
Nick Kaye from Kingsley Muti Pharmacy in Ballasalla says they had been selling the highest dose for £199 but were then told the price to buy it was jumping to £330.
He says they weren't given much time to react:
