Roy Cross to appear before Deemster Main-Thompson
The boss of a roofing firm which caused the Mount Murray hotel fire in 2013 will be sentenced later today (Friday).
Sixty-four year-old Roy Cross, of Santon, was convicted of breaching health and safety legislation in November - he stood trial after denying three health and safety breaches.
Half of the now closed complex was destroyed in the blaze.
The Roofcraft boss will appear before Deemster Main-Thompson, who presided over his trial, at Douglas courthouse.
