Opens at 10am
The Island’s first mountain bike skills area will be officially opened this morning (Sat).
South Barrule Forest is the venue for the Manx Mountain Bike Club facility.
It’s been created by them and the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture, with funding from the Manx Lottery Trust, Isle of Man Sport, DEFA and the End to End Legacy project.
Environment Minister, Geoffrey Boot, will preside over a ribbon-cutting ceremony before riders demonstrate their skills on the new track.
