Event scuppered by lack of volunteer marshalls
The End2End Mountain Bike Challenge has come to an end, after 25 years.
Organisers say no committee's been willing to take on the event, and so the race, covering 45 miles from Point of Ayre to Port Erin, will not happen again in the future.
The event's often attracted hundreds of competitors with many travelling to the Island to take part including multiple British champion Nick Craig.
Chair of the Manx Mountain Bike Club, Nigel Morris says, following the pandemic, it's become impossible to get a large enough workforce to volunteer for the event:
