Southbound traffic only for TT fortnight
The Mountain Road will be closed today while a one-way system is implemented ahead of TT fortnight.
Infrastructure staff will be out placing cones and signage between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
When the road reopens, traffic flow will be restricted to southbound (Ramsey to Douglas) journeys only.
The system will be in place 24 hours a day until the end of the festival, and lifted on Monday, 11 June.
Cyclists are also prohibited from using the Mountain Road over the period.
