The Mountain Road is currently closed due to snow and icy conditions.
The closure is in place between the Gooseneck and Creg-ny-Baa.
The Department of Infrastructure will assess the route later this morning.
A yellow weather warning for hill snow remains in place until 9am.
UPDATE: The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed the road will remain closed until 3:30pm.
