Biker taken to hospital
The Mountain road is closed this lunchtime (Tues).
A biker slid off at the 33rd milestone and the road was closed from the Bungalow through to the Creg ny Baa while the rider was transported to hospital and the machine recovered.
The section of road from Ramsey Hairpin to the Bungalow has subsequently been closed after a second accident near to the Verandah, though no details have yet been released.
Earlier police said traffic had been backing up at the Bungalow.
Motorists are being reminded that the Mountain Road is one-way for the duration of the festival.
