Resurfacing work next weekend
The Mountain Road will be closed next weekend for essential work ahead of this year's Festival of Motorcycling.
Organisers have called for improvements at the 26th Milestone and Black Hut, before next Month's Classic TT and Manx Grad Prix races.
A full closure from Barrule Park in Ramsey to Creg Ny Baa will be imposed for road repair teams to carry out the work.
The DoI says it's timed the closure, from 6pm on Saturday (23 July) until 6am the following Monday (25 July) to avoid clashing with public events, and to minimise any loss of trade for Ramsey's retailers.
