Four weeks until bikes take to Snaefell Mountain Course
Today and tomorrow the Mountain Road is closed between the Bungalow and the Creg Ny Baa as maintenance and preparation works take place ahead of the TT.
The section closed at 6am this morning (29 April) and is due to open no later than 10pm tomorrow night (30 April).
Meanwhile, the northern section between Ramsey and the Bungalow will remain open and the Creg Ny Baa will still be accessible from Douglas via Cronk Ny Mona and the Creg Ny Baa Back Road.
The Bungalow itself is accessible from either Ramsey or the Tholt Y Will.
The Beinn Y Phott junction will remain closed.
Last week the section of the Mountain Road between Ramsey and the Bungalow was closed whilst the DOI undertook maintenance and TT signage, safety barriers and marshaling equipment was installed.
Today marks four weeks until the 2024 Isle of Man TT Races get underway.
