Police provide update as snow falls on Snaefell
The Mountain Road will be staying closed for the time being due to areas of dangerous sheet ice.
Police say 'the full fleet of DoI ploughs and gritters are out, but it is just too cold at the top for it to make any difference at the moment.'
Officers say an update will be provided when the situation changes.
Meanwhile motorists are reminded to drive carefully and to the conditions.
