Traffic returns to major route following four-day closure due to snow and ice
After being closed for several days due to snow and ice, the Mountain Road has now reopened in full.
The route was closed at the weekend following wintry showers that caused disruption to travel around the Island.
The Department of Infrastructure has kept it closed in recent days following regular assessments of the road conditions.
