Evening closures between Monday and Friday
Evening road closures are due to come into force tonight (5 August) on the Mountain Road.
It’s so the Department of Infrastructure can carry out highway maintenance work.
Between 6.30pm and 10pm the road will be closed between Barrule Park in Ramsey and the Creg Ny Baa Back Road.
This will happen each week day until Friday unless there is bad weather.
The DoI says access will be maintained to the parking area at The Bungalow and Victory Café via the Tholt-y-Will.
A contingency period has also been set down from 12-16 August in case of bad weather.
