Repairs ahead of Classic TT and MGP races
The Mountain Road will close this evening (Saturday) for a 36-hour period.
It’s for maintenance work ahead of next month’s Festival of Motorcycling.
Organisers say parts of the road between the 26th Milestone and the Black Hut need improving and resurfacing before the event.
The road between Barrule Park in Ramsey and the Creg-ny-Baa will be shut from six o’clock (6pm) until 6am on Monday.
