TT one-way route comes to an end
The Mountain Road will close at 9.30am this morning (Monday).
It’s so work can take place to restore it back to two-way traffic.
It will re-open at 4.30pm this afternoon.
The road has been one-way for the duration of TT fortnight.
The system, from Ramsey Hairpin to Creg-ny-Baa, was first introduced in 2007 to improve safety and reduce the likelihood of head-on collisions on the mountain section of the TT course.
