MHK to drop number of votes needed for top job
A back bench MHK says any chief minister should have a certain level of support to remain viable in the job.
Daphne Caine has been given unanimous backing by The House of Keys to bring forward a private members bill, dropping the number of Keys votes needed to unseat a Chief Minister from 16 to 13.
Her aim is to amend the Council of Ministers Act:
