Manx Retirement Association react to UK's decision
'From disgusted to despair' - that's how the Manx Retirement Association has reacted to the prospect of over-75s paying for their TV licence fee.
The BBC recently announced that people of this age will now have to pay the licence and the Manx government is now considering its next steps.
It's currently free on the Island for anyone in this bracket.
Director of the MRA is local astronomer Howard Parkin, who gave us his reaction:
"We think it's inhumane the way he was treated."
