Dog deemed too ill for help
A Ramsey woman has spoken out against the MSPCA's decision to euthanise a dog who was suffering from so-called 'kennel stress'.
The four-year-old Staffordshire cross, named Hughie, had been under the charity's care since it was a puppy.
But last week five professionals - including a vet and an animal behaviourist - made the decision to put him down after he was deemed too ill to rehabilitate.
A statement from the MSPCA says the decision was 'difficult', but 'made entirely on animal welfare grounds'.
