
Manx Telecom has started work on a new £10 million data centre at the Isle of Man Business Park.
This will increase the Island's hosting capacity and could help attract new business in a range of sectors including egaming, ebusiness and finance.
It will provide a service to customers who need to outsource their computer storage due to having to cope with big data requirements.
Data Hosting is a real growth area around the world and Manx Telecom Data Centres Director Stuart Paul says this new project will put the island in a strong position over competitors in the field:-
