A team was sent out to inspect the area on the day (Saturday 10 February) after the alleged pollution was reported to the authority.
They determined on sight that it 'wasn't anything sinister' and so no further testing was undertaken.
Testing of bathing water quality is in the remit of DEFA, rather than the MUA.
