John Wannenburgh fielded questions on Earystane & Scard project this week
The Manx Utilities Chair says he is surprised over claims that the projected total cost for a windfarm project was £23.5million.
John Wannenburgh was questioned repeatedly in the House of Keys this week over the finances involved in plans for an onshore wind facility at Earystane & Scard.
Mr Wannenburgh admits that was the figure given in a newspaper headline two years ago.
But he says that total wasn't correct and was only part of the projected expenses:
A former government minister has said that Manx Utilities should consider moving the proposed windfarm from the south to Sulby.
