Finished work means traffic controls removed
The Manx Utilities Authority says it won’t need temporary traffic lights in Ballasalla next week, after two days of problems for motorists.
Drivers queued as far north as Blackboards corner on Thursday because of the traffic control timings near the Whitestone Pub – and some problems continued on Friday morning.
Now, however, the MUA says it’s finished work ahead of schedule, so there’ll be no lights required on Monday.
The organisation has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
