Car comes off Poortown Road
A mother and child, whose car careened off the Poortown Road in Peel yesterday escaped without injuries.
The accident, which happened just after 11:30am, left the car upside-down on its roof.
The occupants had managed to escape the wreckage of their own accord, before the emergency services had arrived.
Ambulance crews carried out a precautionary check on scene, fire service personnel ensured the car was safe, and the vehicle was recovered from the scene.
