Murder investigation: Police thank public for their support

Inspector appeals for anyone with information to come forward

The police have thanked members of the public who offered their support to officers and emergency services in Ramsey yesterday (29 May). 

A murder investigation is underway after a local person died following a serious incident in the area of Close Drean at 3.38pm.

Authorities have also confirmed another local has been arrested in connection with the matter, and a murder investigation has been launched.

Speaking on Manx Radio Motorsport Inspector Paul Kemp says the investigation is ongoing and is urging anyone with information to come forward:

Those with information regarding the incident are asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The constabulary has also set up an online portal for people to provide information, including imagery.
