Anderson to serve 15 years minimum
A murderer who attacked and killed his love rival in a fit of jealousy has been handed a life sentence.
Ian Anthony Anderson murdered 60-year-old Neil Edward Roberts in 2013.
At Douglas Courthouse he was told he’ll spend a minimum of 15 years behind bars before he can be considered for parole.
Today's sentence will be reduced by the amount of time he’s already spent in custody – the 55-year-old was found guilty of the offence yesterday after a retrial; he was previously convicted in 2015.
