Jury sworn-in on Anderson re-trial
A jury has been appointed in the trial of a former Castletown man who is accused of murder.
Ian Anthony Anderson, who is currently care of the Isle of Man Prison, appeared at Douglas Courthouse today (12 May).
The 54-year-old is charged with murdering Neil Roberts on 1 December 2013.
After swearing-in the 12 jurors – four men and eight women – Deemster Graeme Cook told them Mr Anderson was being retried for the offence which ‘dates back some years now’.
Ian Anderson denies murder – the trial will begin on Monday (15 May).
