Huge contribution to event saluted
One of the Parish Walk's best-known figures is being remembered at this year's race.
Murray Lambden passed away suddenly in April - he was 60.
A long-time competitor, statistician, advisor, photographer and writer - not to mention the winner in 1978 - his contribution to the event was immense.
Now his smiling face has been immortalised on Parish Walk 2017 commemorative t-shirts, along with the slogan 'Remembering Murray'.
Friend and fellow competitor, Steve Partington, designed the garments.
Race director Ray Cox explains what Murray did for the event:

Man treated for non-life threatening injuries following Ramsey incident
Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Police dealing with 'serious incident' in Ramsey
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
