Trust wants to expand volunteer workforce
There's a chance to get involved in helping a local organisation collect important information on marine mammals.
The Manx Wildlife Trust is holding a course on Monday week (March 7th) to train volunteers to conduct surveys of mammals that wash up on our shores.
All manner of creatures turn up around the Manx coastline from common finds such as grey seals through to a recent rare discovery of an otter.
The course is free to attend and Marine Officer from MWT Lara Howe says she hopes they can grow their team of volunteers.
It's being held at the MWT Headquarters at 7pm on March 7th. For more details you can contact lara@manxwt.org.uk.
