Charity hails impact of nature on mental health
Viewing nature and wildlife can have a positive impact on mental health and stress according to the Manx Wildlife Trust.
The charity has been working with Praxis Care and Mindfulness Mann to explore the benefits of having access to a nearby natural environment.
As a result, the MWT will be running wild mindfulness sessions, with details to be revealed on its social media pages in due course.
Studies by similar trusts in the UK show supporting community projects involving wildlife returns almost £7 for every £1 invested.
